Unplanned Date with Noah

9-4-08. Recently I been reading the book "When a Crocodile Eats the Sun" a sequel memoir to "Mukiwa: White Boy in Africa" by Peter Godwin. Good reads by the way. I take the books I am reading with me to work to read on breaks and lunch. I had gotten out of work without it and was planning on finishing it that night since I only had a few pages left. So off I went to get it. There was no way Noah was going to let me go out without him. Josiah was sleeping so I took him with me. All routes to work pass by Noah's favorite spot, The Park! So we first went to my office to get my book then back to the park. We chased ducks, played on the play equipment and threw rocks in the lake. Then we proceeded to go down to the river to see the water and throw more rocks. It was such a nice unplanned date! It has been quite some time since Noah and I have had much time alone.
