Wintery Ice Storm

Yesterday mid afternoon we were hit with an ice storm. The roads have not been that bad in town cause there are snow plows going through but there have been several accidents even deaths reported in the surrounding areas. We went to bed with it raining outside. Trees were icing up. Around 2 AM I awoke to hearing limbs falling. I went outside to see and found limbs down all around us. Our neighbors had limbs come down on their cars. We have been fortunate to not have any major damage. We have 2 very old trees rather close to the house in our back yard that we are always concerned with when we have any significant weather. This morning we found that a limb fell on our fence. We also discovered we only have power to half of our house. We thankfully have electricity and water so we will manage. We also discovered 2 rather large limbs teetering above our house and the neighbors. Lord keep them up. Here are some photos.
