Going Home
We are going home! Our 21 days are up. Josiah's IV held out til the last 2 doses. The doctor gave him an exam today and said all looks well neurologically. He had a hearing test done again and that was good. The doctor also could not hear a murmur today. The nurses are sad to see him go and have all commented on how much he has grown. Of course being with him all the time I have not noticed as much. He is now 8 lbs. 11 oz. When we checked into the hospital he was weighing 7 lbs. 3 oz. He has also grown 2.5 in. since birth. No more jaundice, no more leisons, no more IVs. He has to take medication for the next year and visit the cardiologist in 1.5 months.
